मऊ की प्रथम लोकपाल विनीता पाण्डेय को इंटरनेशनल वुमन एंपावरमेंट अवार्ड 2026 से सम्मानित
मेरठ, उत्तर प्रदेश। समाज सेवा और महिला सशक्तिकरण के क्षेत्र में उत्कृष्ट योगदान के लिए श्रीमती विनीता पाण्डेय को चौधरी चरण सिंह यूनिवर्सिटी, मेरठ में आयोजित समारोह में इंटरनेशनल वुमन एंपावरमेंट अवार्ड 2026 से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान उन्हें महिला आयोग की सदस्या मनीषा अहलावत द्वारा प्रदान किया गया।
श्रीमती विनीता पाण्डेय मऊ जिले की प्रथम लोकपाल होने के साथ-साथ एक गृहिणी के रूप में भी अपनी जिम्मेदारियों का सफलतापूर्वक निर्वहन कर रही हैं। उन्होंने अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान निष्पक्षता, ईमानदारी और तत्परता के साथ समाज के कमजोर वर्गों, विशेष रूप से महिलाओं और बच्चियों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण कार्य किए हैं।
वे जरूरतमंद महिलाओं को कानूनी सहायता, संरक्षण, शिक्षा और रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराने में सक्रिय भूमिका निभाती रही हैं। प्रशासनिक और सामाजिक संगठनों के साथ मिलकर उन्होंने कई मामलों में प्रभावी सहायता सुनिश्चित की है, जिसके कारण मऊ ही नहीं बल्कि अन्य जिलों की महिलाएं भी कठिन परिस्थितियों में उनसे संपर्क करती हैं।
लोकपाल बनने से पूर्व विनीता पाण्डेय बाल कल्याण विभाग में मजिस्ट्रेट के रूप में कार्य कर चुकी हैं। इस दौरान उन्होंने लावारिस और जरूरतमंद बच्चों के संरक्षण तथा बाल सुधार गृह में रह रहे बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास के लिए सराहनीय प्रयास किए। उनके योगदान के लिए उन्हें जिले और प्रदेश स्तर पर कई बार सम्मानित किया जा चुका है।
उनकी इसी समर्पण भावना और सामाजिक योगदान को देखते हुए एक बार फिर उन्हें इस प्रतिष्ठित अंतरराष्ट्रीय सम्मान से नवाजा गया है।

Mau’s First Lokpal Vineeta Pandey Honored with International Women Empowerment Award 2026
Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. Mrs. Vineeta Pandey has been honored with the International Women Empowerment Award 2026 at Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, for her outstanding contribution to society and women empowerment. The award was presented by Women Commission member Manisha Ahlawat.
Apart from being a housewife, Mrs. Pandey serves as the first Lokpal of Mau district and has carried out her responsibilities with honesty, fairness, and dedication. She has been actively supporting women and girls by providing legal aid, protection, and assistance in education and livelihood.
She works closely with administrative and social organizations to ensure help reaches those in need. Her efforts have made her a trusted name not only in Mau but also in neighboring districts.
Before becoming Lokpal, she served as a Magistrate in Child Welfare, where she worked for the protection and rehabilitation of abandoned children and the development of children in shelter homes. Her impactful work has earned her recognition at district and state levels multiple times.
This prestigious international award is yet another recognition of her continuous dedication to social service.
